The SmallRig Cage Kit for Sony FX6 4124 includes a top plate, V-mount battery plate, side plate, baseplate, and power cable, all seamlessly integrating with the Sony FX6 in both design and color.The rear V-mount battery plate, combined with the power cable, enables the attachment of an external battery, extending operational time. This plate can be adjusted upward and locked into place to allow convenient access for memory card swaps and BP-U battery installation. The removable side plate offers flexible positioning—when mounted at the back, it leaves space for the original handle while supporting accessories like a microphone or image transmitter, and when positioned at the front, it helps maintain balance during vertical shooting. Additionally, the baseplate goes beyond a standard quick-release plate by aiding in heat dissipation to prevent overheating. For effortless assembly and disassembly, the kit includes a slotted screwdriver and hex spanner.
