The AD200Pro TTL Pocket Flash Kit from Godox is an upgraded version of its predecessor, offering a versatile lighting solution with two distinct flash heads: a standard speedlight and a bare bulb. This flexibility allows users to achieve different lighting effects, with the kit including both heads, a lithium battery, charger, and a carrying case for convenience.

The built-in 2.4 GHz Wireless X System enables remote control of triggering, power adjustments, and alert sounds when paired with an optional wireless transmitter, ensuring compatibility with Nikon, Canon, Sony, Olympus, and Fuji TTL systems. The included battery pack, rated at 14.4V / 2900mAh, provides reliable power with fast recycling speeds. A clear digital display allows for easy adjustments, and additional accessories like barn doors, color filters, and diffusers expand creative possibilities. The speedlight head produces a traditional on-camera flash look, which can be modified using accessories like a softbox, beauty dish, or umbrella. In contrast, the bare bulb head features a removable flash tube, emitting a 360-degree soft and bright light with minimal shadows. Optional reflectors help shape the beam and provide directional control.

The AD200Pro delivers 200Ws of adjustable power across nine levels, ranging from 1/256 to 1/1, with recycling times between 0.01 and 2.1 seconds and flash durations as brief as 1/15,380 sec. The rechargeable lithium battery supports up to 500 full-power flashes and thousands of lower-power bursts. This flash unit operates in three modes: Manual, TTL, and Multi (Stroboscopic). The Manual mode allows users to set power levels, modeling light, and first or second curtain sync. The Multi mode controls stroboscopic firing up to 90 times per second.

TTL mode utilizes the built-in X1 receiver, with optional X1 TTL transmitters available for Nikon, Canon, Sony, Olympus, and FUJIFILM cameras. The 32-channel wireless system provides remote control over various settings, including High-Speed Sync up to 1/8000 second, at distances up to 328 feet. Firmware updates can be accessed via the Godox website. Enhancements in this second-generation model include a Stable Color Temperature Mode, maintaining color accuracy within ±100K, a broader nine-stop power range with 1/10th-stop increments, and a faster full-power recycle time of 1.8 seconds.
