The SmallRig Full Cage for EOS R5, R6, and R5 C (2982) is a protective and versatile accessory designed to enhance videography by offering multiple mounting points for various add-ons. It secures the camera with a 1/4"-20 screw and two locating pins, while silicone cushions on the top and bottom prevent scratches. The cage features numerous 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes for attaching accessories like the Side Handle 2093, Top Handle 1984, and Arm with Ball Heads 2070. The left side supports the Cable Clamp 2981, while the top includes a cold shoe mount for microphones and LED lights. ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes on the top and sides are compatible with ARRI Top Handle 2165 and ARRI Side Handles HSS2426 & 2914. Additionally, strap mounting points accommodate the Hand Strap PAC2456, Wrist Strap PSW2398, and Shoulder Strap PSC2428. A built-in spanner, which can be slid out from the side, allows for easy removal of bottom screws without interfering with a quick-release plate. The right side of the cage is contoured to fit the camera’s handle, ensuring a comfortable grip. Moreover, the bottom features an Arca-type quick-release plate and 1/4"-20 threaded holes, allowing seamless compatibility with DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, and RS 3 Pro stabilizers. This form-fitting, all-in-one cage maintains full access to the camera’s controls, buttons, hot shoe, battery door, and ports, making it a practical and reliable choice for professional videographers.
