The Godox TT685N Thinklite TTL Flash is a versatile lighting tool designed for Nikon cameras, offering full support for i-TTL, including high-speed sync, and featuring an integrated 2.4GHz radio system. This enables both simple and advanced lighting setups. When mounted on a camera, it provides strong illumination with a guide number of 197' at ISO 100 and 200mm, along with a zoom range of 20-200mm. The flash head can be adjusted by tilting from -7 to 90° and rotating 360° for flexible positioning. As a TTL-compatible flash, it functions as both a master and a slave unit for wireless operation. The user-friendly design includes a rear LCD panel for easy setting adjustments. It also features a wireless control port for optional remote operation and a 3.5mm sync port for wired connectivity. Powered by four AA batteries, it delivers quick recycle times ranging from 0.1 to 2.6 seconds. Compatibility with Nikon Z 6II and Z 7II is ensured with firmware version 3.3 or later.
With its built-in 2.4GHz X radio system, the TT685N supports wireless triggering, offering a working range of up to 328 feet, 32 channels, and three groups. It can also be paired with an optional X series transmitter for expanded lighting setups. Nikon i-TTL compatibility allows for automatic flash adjustments and advanced functions like high-speed sync. The TT685N’s zoom head covers 20-200mm and includes a 14mm wide-angle panel to accommodate various lenses. Manual power control ranges from 1/1 to 1/128 in 1/3 EV increments, providing precise adjustments. Additionally, optical master/slave transmission enables it to work alongside other compatible flashes. For added convenience, users can connect an FT series remote control to the wireless control port for remote power adjustments. A 3.5mm sync port allows wired connections to cameras or triggers. The flash runs on four AA alkaline or NiMH batteries, delivering approximately 230 full-power flashes per charge. Firmware updates can be installed via USB, ensuring future compatibility and performance improvements.
