Designed for high-performance lighting, the V1Pro S supports high-speed sync up to 1/8000 sec, making it ideal for balancing bright backgrounds and working with wide apertures. Additional capabilities include front and rear curtain sync and flash exposure compensation. To aid in precise composition, Godox has integrated a 2W LED modeling lamp into the unit. The flash operates using a rechargeable battery, which enables rapid 1.5-second recycling times, ensuring seamless performance during fast-paced shooting situations. Its power output can be adjusted between 1/1 and 1/256, allowing up to 500 full-power flashes per charge. Under continuous use, the V1Pro S can sustain 100 full-power flashes before activating its overheat protection mechanism. The included battery is equipped with a built-in USB-C port for direct charging from any USB-C-compatible device.

Additionally, the unit is compatible with the PB960 external power pack, available separately. As part of Godox’s 2.4 GHz X Wireless Radio System, the V1Pro S provides a wireless range of up to 328 feet. With 32 selectable channels and multiple grouping options, users can minimize interference from other photographers or trigger individual flashes for complex multi-light setups. Beyond its core features, the V1Pro S includes a 2.5mm sync port for wired connections and a magnetic mounting surface, enabling quick attachment of optional Godox light modifiers. It features an LCD screen for clear visibility of settings, a 3300K, 2W LED modeling light, and firmware update support via a USB-C port. Compact and lightweight, measuring just 6 x 4 x 2 inches and weighing 20 ounces, the flash is also compatible with the AK-R1 accessory kit, which includes a set of magnetically attached modifiers. For optimal performance, the flash head should be tilted upward when using the sub-flash. Note that the sub-flash does not support wireless triggering or high-speed sync functionality.

Maintaining a compact, shoe-mounted form similar to the original V1 model, this upgraded version introduces several enhanced features. The sub-flash, included in the package, can be effortlessly attached to the front of the unit to improve portrait lighting in both manual and TTL modes. Delivering a powerful 76Ws output, the V1Pro S is fully compatible with Sony cameras utilizing ADI / P-TTL automatic exposure control. It offers a flexible zoom range from 28 to 105mm, along with 330° rotation and a tilt range of -7° to 120°. Its circular head ensures consistent light distribution, allowing photographers to achieve unique creative effects and refined lighting aesthetics. The detachable sub-flash can be easily mounted or removed as needed. Once activated, it functions as an auxiliary fill light, particularly useful for portrait photography. Users have the ability to fine-tune its output from 1/128 to full power and adjust exposure between -3 and +3 EV in 1/3-step increments.
